Welcome to our website at the Municipality of Otter Lake, Quebec.

Kim  Cartier-VilleneuveI am honored and proud to continue representing the municipality for a four (4) year term.

I will continue to work with all councillors ensuring transparency, collaboration and solidarity. It is in this spirit that we will be able to achieve the goals we have set to better serve the citizens of Otter Lake.

CANTEEN & SKATING RINK SUPERVISION  

The Municipality of Otter Lake is seeking the services of a supervisor for the canteen and supervision of the public skating rink, for the 2018-2019 winter season.

The duration being 8 to 10 weeks per year. The municipality will determine the duration dependant on weather conditions.  The contract will be renewable if both parties are in agreement.

Please be advised that the Municipality can put an end to the contract at anytime if they receive complaints and deem it necessary.

 Opening hours: 41 hours/week (Monday to Friday 4PM-9PM, Saturday 12PM-9PM and Sunday 1PM-8PM).  Extended hours during school holidays.

Remuneration:  $375.00 per week + profits from the canteen.

The Réseau BIBLIO de l’Outaouais is offering a new English eBook loan service

As we approach the holiday season, the Réseau BIBLIO de l’Outaouais is proud to announce the arrival of a new English eBook loan service is now available to the users of member libraries. This service, made possible by the association between the Réseau BIBLIO de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue-Nord-du-Québec and the Réseau BIBLIO des Laurentides, is supplementing the French electronic book loan service that was implemented at the Réseau BIBLIO de l’Outaouais several years ago. 

Users can now access over a thousand electronic books in English. The collection is set to increase steadily over weeks and months. It is possible to borrow these documents for a period of three (3) weeks by transferring them to a reader, tablet or device such as an iPod, iPhone or a smartphone using Android technology. As part of the implementation of the MRC Pontiac Residual Materials Management Plan, we would like to know your practices with regards to household composting.
Your participation in large numbers is essential, because the information collected will allow your municipalities to recover provincial subsidies related to waste management and composting.


  • Taxes are mailed out! Balances over $300 can be made in 3 installments April 1st, July 1st and September 1st (check or cash only). Interest accrued on unpaid balances is calculated at 18%.
